The app may crash if it tries to render certain sequence of characters which include emoji skin tone modifiers.
The cause of the problem lies on a bug in CoreText API, which has been found on macOS 10.9.
The version 2.85 implements a workaround to remove emoji skin tone modifiers on operating systems without emoji skin tone modifier support.
